Space Coast Hurricanes rides Bonis to victory over Palm Beach Hawks, 4-1

Parker Bonis had a standout game with 37 saves, and Space Coast Hurricanes beat Palm Beach Hawks 4-1.

Space Coast Hurricanes pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 22 penalty minutes.

Space Coast Hurricanes was led by Colby Stewart, who grabbed one goal. Stewart scored 6:40 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Space Coast Hurricanes. Clay Plyler picked up the assist.

Space Coast Hurricanes' offense rang up 54 shots on Palm Beach Hawks' net.

Space Coast Hurricanes additionally got points from Jack Musil, who also registered one goal and one assist and Plyler, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Griffin Rogers also scored for Space Coast Hurricanes. Other players who recorded assists for Space Coast Hurricanes were Jamie Chilcott, Scotty Tam, Arthur Anderson, and Andrew Bathgate, who contributed one a piece.

Space Coast Hurricanes was unable to stop Palm Beach Hawks from sending pucks towards the net, and Palm Beach Hawks eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Palm Beach Hawks was ineffective while on the power play, as it was held to one goal off of 10 man advantages. Palm Beach Hawks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

Palm Beach Hawks was led by Jake Simons, who scored the team's only goal. Simons scored on the power play 1:54 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Space Coast Hurricanes. CJ Hoy provided the assist.

Space Coast Hurricanes registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. Palm Beach Hawks' Tommy Cruz stopped 50 shots out of the 54 that he faced.
