Palm Beach Hawks squeaks by Space Coast Hurricanes, 4-3

Palm Beach Hawks and Space Coast Hurricanes were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Palm Beach Hawks made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Brandon Desrosiers secured the win for Palm Beach Hawks with a goal in the third period.

Desrosiers was all over the ice for Palm Beach Hawks, as he had two goals in the win.

Palm Beach Hawks' penalty kill excelled, as Palm Beach Hawks gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Palm Beach Hawks stifled Space Coast Hurricanes' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Palm Beach Hawks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

Nick Aleva also scored for Palm Beach Hawks. In addition, Palm Beach Hawks received assists from Jeremy Canonica, CJ Hoy, and Dennis Allingmon, who each chipped in one and Kevin Mansolill and Justin Anderson, who contributed two a piece.

Space Coast Hurricanes could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

Space Coast Hurricanes was led by Jack Musil, who registered two goals. Musil scored the first of his two goals at 2:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Space Coast Hurricanes. Jamie Chilcott provided the assist. Musil's next tally made the score 3-2 Space Coast Hurricanes with 17:27 left in the third period. Crissostomos Villarreal picked up the assist. Space Coast Hurricanes also got a goal from Jacob Brown as well. More assists for Space Coast Hurricanes came via Clay Plyler, who had one and Jonah Bolton, who had two.

Shayne Dietl recorded 27 saves for Palm Beach Hawks. Palm Beach Hawks registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. Space Coast Hurricanes' Jeremy Laux stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced.
