Florida Eels stifles Space Coast Hurricanes' comeback, gains 4-2 victory

Space Coast Hurricanes almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Florida Eels managed to pull out a 4-2 win in the end.

Florida Eels led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Florida Eels' Zachery Mudge's scored at 8:15 in the third period to put Florida Eels up 3-0.

Florida Eels pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Florida Eels was paced by Arnaldo Osuna, who finished with one goal. Osuna scored 18:55 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Florida Eels. Brien Thompson provided the assist.

Florida Eels put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Space Coast Hurricanes to score on any of its six power plays. Space Coast Hurricanes was unable to stop Florida Eels from sending pucks towards the net, and Florida Eels eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

Florida Eels also got points from Tom Doverhjelm, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Florida Eels also got a goal from Alexander Sanchez as well. In addition, Florida Eels received assists from Fredrik Wink, Trent McDougall, and Sean McGowan, who contributed one a piece.

Space Coast Hurricanes was led by Jack Musil, who tallied two goals. Musil scored the first of his two goals at 11:08 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Florida Eels. Musil's next tally made the score 3-2 Florida Eels with 2:03 left in the third period. Clay Plyler assisted on the tally. More assists for Space Coast Hurricanes came via Crissostomos Villarreal, who had one.

Hunter Fernandez recorded 22 saves for Florida Eels. Florida Eels registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Parker Bonis made 38 saves for Space Coast Hurricanes on 41 shots. Space Coast Hurricanes incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
