Brandon Green recorded a shutout against the Port Perry Mojacks as the Clarington Eagles picked up a 3-0 win.

Clarington pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 29 penalty minutes.

The Eagles excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances.

Clarington was helped by Jeremy OsborneAPM, who racked up one goal. OsborneAPM scored 2:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Clarington. Scott Ferguson assisted on the tally. Clarington also got points from Brock Ackerman, who also had one goal and one assist and Dan Michel, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Clarington came via Brent Hambly, Collin McGillis, and Brad Down, who each chipped in one.

Port Perry's offense operated below it season average. The Mojacks put an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. The Eagles were unable to stop Port Perry from sending pucks towards the net, and the Mojacks eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Clarington's Green stopped 31 shots out of the 31 that he faced. The Eagles registered two goals on five power play opportunities. For Clarington, OsborneAPM was ejected from the game. Drew Siydock rejected 21 shots on goal for Port Perry. The Mojacks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
