The Lakefield Chiefs were firing on all cylinders against the Port Perry Mojacks, and when the final buzzer sounded Chiefs emerged with a 4-1 win. Derek Manley had one goal and three assists to lead Lakefield. Manley scored on the power play 19:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lakefield. The Chiefs earned a power play opportunity when Logan Evans was put in the box for tripping. Eric Oosting assisted on the tally. Lakefield was led by goalie Zach Wainman, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Wainman managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.94 prior to the game.
