The Georgina Ice fell behind early, and the Lakefield Chiefs kept piling on the points on the way to a 7-2 victory.

Derek Manley had one goal and three assists to lead Lakefield. Manley scored 11:52 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Lakefield. Daniel Hallihan assisted on the tally.

The Chiefs stifled Georgina's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lakefield forced the Ice goalie Jake Francis to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.
