The Georgina Ice fell victim to the Port Perry Mojacks' four power play goals en route to a 7-1 loss.

Port Perry was paced by Matt Murray, who racked up one goal and one assist. Murray scored on the power play 13:35 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Port Perry. The Mojacks had gained a power play chance when Jesse Johnston was whistled for cross checking. Nick Clark assisted on the tally.

Port Perry forced Ice's goaltenders to work without much rest, totaling 32 shots and forcing 25 saves. Jake Francis made 16 stops and Michael Chilvers made nine. The Mojacks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Georgina power plays. Port Perry bested its season scoring average. The Mojacks have scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of Port Perry were also effective in Georgina's zone, and came away with two goals.

Port Perry also got points from Kyler Challis, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Logan Evans, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Mike Grifoni, who also registered one goal and one assist. Port Perry also had goals scored by Ryan Nichols, who had one and Matt Paul, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Port Perry were Matt Johnston and Aeric Annetts, who contributed one a piece.

The Ice's offense operated below they season average. Georgina puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game.

The Ice were led by AJ Killens, who scored the team's only goal. Killens scored 3:46 into the first period to make the score 1-1. JP Contento picked up the assist.

Jeff Julien recorded 17 saves for the Mojacks. Port Perry incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Mojacks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Johnston was ejected from the game. Georgina incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
