Brandon Francey had a standout game with 38 saves, and the Uxbridge Bruins beat the Little Britain Merchants 4-1.

Uxbridge was sparked by Steve Doutsis, who had one goal and one assist. Doutsis scored 6:47 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge. Justin Bean provided the assist.

The Bruins' offense rang up 51 shots on Little Britain's net. Uxbridge got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Little Britain was led by Quincy McIvor, who scored the team's only goal. McIvor scored 1:31 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Little Britain. Mark Vasey assisted on the tally.

Uxbridge incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Neil Pittock made 47 saves for the Merchants on 51 shots. Little Britain incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
