The Uxbridge Bruins tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Port Perry Mojacks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1. Port Perry took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Uxbridge storm back on a Mike Ramsey goal 11:24 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Mojacks were led by Matt Paul, who racked up one goal and one assist. Paul scored 2:58 into the second period to make the score Port Perry. Matt Johnston provided the assist. Ryan Nichols also scored for Port Perry. More assists for Port Perry came via Joe Lamanna and Ryan Beattie, who each chipped in one. The Bruins avoided man-down situations well, tallying one major for five minutes in penalty time. Uxbridge finished below its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game. The Bruins could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Uxbridge averages 4.3 goals per game. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Callum Lynch and Joey Vocino, who contributed one a piece. Port Perry totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and had no power play opportunities. The Mojacks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Lamanna was ejected from the game. The Bruins registered one goal on three power play opportunities. For Uxbridge, Dylan Ross was ejected from the game.
