The Port Perry Mojacks pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Clarington Eagles on a clutch goal by Kyler Challis.

Matt Murray had two goals to lead Port Perry to victory. Murray found the back of the net 4:45 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Port Perry and again while 14:54 into the second to make the score 3-2 Port Perry.

The Mojacks put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Clarington to score on any of its four power plays.

Matt Paul also scored for Port Perry. More assists for Port Perry came via Conner Shingler, Mike Grifoni, Ryan Beattie, and Brodie Meyers, who contributed one a piece.

The Eagles were helped by Dan Michel, who racked up one goal. Michel scored 19:08 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Greg St. James picked up the assist. Clarington also got a goal from Brent Hambly as well. In addition, Clarington received assists from Carter Vahey, Collin McGillis, and Craig Crowther, who each chipped in one.

Drew Siydock rejected 17 shots on goal for Port Perry. The Mojacks incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Nick Keleher recorded 26 saves for Clarington. The Eagles incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
