Keegan Cairns lifted the Uxbridge Bruins to a 5-2 victory with a hat trick against the Little Britain Merchants.

Cairns notched his first tally 4:27 into the second period. He then added goals at 17:29 into the second and at 13:55 into the third.

Uxbridge also got points from Joey Vocino, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Uxbridge also got a goal from Patrick Morgan as well. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Michael Spataro, Callum Lynch, Matthew Allen, Steve Doutsis, Justin Bean, and Mike Ramsey, who each chipped in one.

Little Britain put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Uxbridge to score on any of its six power plays.

The Merchants were helped by Ryan Moser, who had one goal. Moser scored 8:57 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Scott Mcguire assisted on the tally. Mitch Berzins also scored for Little Britain. More assists for Little Britain came via Mark Vasey, who had one.

The Bruins incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Little Britain incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
