The Listowel Cyclones tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Caledonia Corvairs held on for a 3-2 victory. Caledonia took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Listowel storm back on a Patrick Bell goal 19:59 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Leonard Dziemianko had a great game for the Corvairs, netting two goals. The Cyclones were unable to stop Caledonia from sending pucks towards the net, and the Corvairs eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Tyler Norrie also scored for Caledonia. Other players who recorded assists for Caledonia were Adam Brady, who had one and Fabrizio Ricci and Brendan Bomberry, who contributed two a piece. Listowel's offense operated below it season average. The Cyclones put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Listowel kept Caledonia's goalie busy throughout the game, and Justis Husak made 37 saves on 39 shots. In addition, Listowel received assists from Caleb Cameron, Aaron Armstrong, and Scott Pawson, who each chipped in one. The Corvairs incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Drew Reinhardt made 30 saves for the Cyclones on 33 shots. Listowel incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
