The Niagara Falls Canucks' Cam Stewart scored 4:26 into overtime to beat the Fort Erie Meteors, 5-4 (OT).

Stewart had two goals to lead Niagara Falls to victory.

The Canucks forced Fort Erie goalie Wyatt Pickrell to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Others who scored for Niagara Falls included Billy Saxton, who had one and Drew Berkel, who had two. In addition, Niagara Falls received assists from Mitch McIntosh, who had two and Michael Christou, Marcus Michalski, Marc Rowe, Vittorio Giannico, and Vito Scaringi, who each chipped in one.

The Meteors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

Fort Erie was helped by Nik Passero, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Passero scored the first of his two goals at 16:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Fort Erie.
