Brendan Polasek made 28 saves to complete the shutout and led the Thorold Blackhawks to a 3-0 win against the Stoney Creek Warriors. Stoney Creek's power play was ineffective against Thorold's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Blackhawks were led by Tanner Pagendam, who registered one goal. Pagendam scored on the power play 13:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Thorold. Thorold earned a power play opportunity when Parsa Monsef was put in the box for roughing.
