The St. Catharines Falcons were firing on all cylinders against the Welland Jr. Canadians, and when the final buzzer sounded Falcons emerged with a 5-1 win. St. Catharines was paced by Tyler Jackson, who grabbed one goal. Jackson scored 4:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Catharines. Ben Walsh assisted on the tally. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 17:49 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with three game misconducts.
