Lambton Shores downs Chatham in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Lambton Shores Predators pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Chatham Maroons on a clutch goal by Adam Arseneault.

Arseneault had two goals to lead Lambton Shores to victory. Arseneault scored at 14:05 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 2:36 into the fourth to make the score 3-2 Lambton Shores.

Lambton Shores also got a goal from Cale Duberry as well. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Ferdinando Colella, who had two and Ryan Rontondi, Kyle Brothers, and Brett Thompson, who contributed one a piece.

Chatham could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Maroons put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Chatham forced the Predators goalie Brandon Campbell to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

The Maroons were led by Brennan Feasey, who tallied two goals. Feasey scored the first of his two goals at 5:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chatham. Oliver Blayne picked up the assist. Feasey's next tally made the score 2-1 Chatham with 3:39 left in the first period. Chatham had gotten the advantage when Lambton Shores' Duberry was sent off for high sticking. Sean Myers assisted on the tally. More assists for Chatham came via Ben Pataki and Alexander Morgan, who each chipped in one.

Campbell rejected 39 shots on goal for the Predators. Lambton Shores incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Darien Ekblad recorded 22 saves for the Maroons. Chatham incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
