Dima Lavrenov racked up one point to lead the Port Colborne Pirates to a 2-1 victory over the Fort Erie Meteors.

Port Colborne did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Pirates average 4.7 goals per game.

Port Colborne also got a goal from DYLAN BURDICK as well. Other players who recorded assists for Port Colborne were Nathan Judd Warren and Dayne Phillips, who contributed two a piece.

Fort Erie's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Port Colborne power plays.

The Meteors were led by Aaron Wanat, who scored the team's only goal. Wanat scored on the power play 19:35 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Fort Erie had gained a power play chance when Trevor Smith was whistled for roughing after whistle. Nik Passero picked up the assist.

Real Cormier rejected 15 shots on goal for Port Colborne. The Pirates incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. For Port Colborne, Bryan Komasara was ejected from the game. Wyatt Pickrell made 13 saves for the Meteors on 15 shots. Fort Erie incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
