Kitchener boosted by Williams' play in net, beats Waterloo 3-1Kinsmen Arena Tue, Dec 18, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Marc Williams had a standout game with 41 saves, and the Kitchener Dutchmen beat the Waterloo Siskins 3-1. Waterloo's power play was ineffective against Kitchener's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Dutchmen were led by Ty Learn, who grabbed one goal. Learn scored 13:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kitchener. Philip Moser provided the assist. Kitchener's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Waterloo power plays. Trevor Atkinson APJ assisted on the tally. Kitchener incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. PJ Bridges made 41 saves for the Siskins on 43 shots. Waterloo incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
