Dylan Denomme netted a hat trick to lead the LaSalle Vipers over the St. Marys Lincolns, 5-1. Denomme notched his first tally 19:08 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:57 into the second and at 3:15 into the third.Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 19:01 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. LaSalle was often in penalty trouble, totaling three minors and five majors for 41 minutes in penalty time. The Vipers surpassed its season average of 24.0 penalty minutes per game. LaSalle stifled St. Marys' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LaSalle also got points from Korey Morgan, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Dylan Seguin, who also finished with one goal and two assists. More assists for LaSalle came via Chad Shepley, Zack Percy, Conner MacKinnon, Eric Noel, and Brendan McCann, who contributed one a piece. Team's Rio Anzolin, Blake Jones, Brad Carroll, Scott Prier, and Seguin were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. The Lincolns' Jacob Theut stopped 25 shots out of the 30 that he faced. St. Marys registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. For the Lincolns, Danny Bryan, Owen MacDonald, Tyson Baker, and Kyle Flemington were ejected from the contest.
