Reinhardt, Listowel blank Caledonia, 2-0

Drew Reinhardt recorded a shutout against the Caledonia Corvairs as the Listowel Cyclones picked up a 2-0 win.

Listowel's penalty kill excelled, as the Cyclones gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.

Listowel was paced by Caleb Cameron, who registered one goal. Cameron scored 15:29 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Listowel. Jacob Robitaille picked up the assist.

The Cyclones stifled Caledonia's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Listowel forced the Corvairs goalie Justis Husak to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. The Cyclones could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Listowel also got a goal from Mac Nichol as well. More assists for Listowel came via Scott Pawson, who had one.

Caledonia's offense operated below it season average. The Corvairs average 3.8 goals per game. Listowel was unable to stop Caledonia from sending pucks towards the net, and the Corvairs eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

The Cyclones' Reinhardt stopped 42 shots out of the 42 that he faced. Listowel registered one goal on six power play opportunities. For the Cyclones, Dylan Sayles was ejected from the game. Justis Husak made 31 saves for Caledonia on 33 shots. The Corvairs incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
