Brampton beats Listowel 3-2 after comeback scarePowerade Centre Sat, Dec 08, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Brampton Bombers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Listowel Cyclones on the way to a 3-2 win. Brampton made the score 3-1 on a goal by Michael Darrigo at 16:43 in the second period, and Listowel got as close as 3-2 when Dylan Sayles scored 31 seconds into the third period. The Bombers were led by Darrigo, who grabbed one goal. Brampton also got a goal from Calvin Gomes as well. Other players who recorded assists for Brampton were Jacob Hanlon, Brady Clouthier, Greg Wilson, and Kurt Wolff, who each chipped in one. The Cyclones' offense rang up 33 shots on Brampton's net. Listowel was helped by Scott Pawson, who registered one goal. Pawson scored on the power play 1:05 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Caleb Cameron picked up the assist. In addition, Listowel received assists from Patrick Bell, Sam Feagan, and Colten Pickett, who contributed one a piece. Bryan Raymond recorded 31 saves for the Bombers. Brampton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Drew Reinhardt made 22 saves for the Cyclones on 25 shots. Listowel incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. For the Cyclones, Cameron was ejected from the game.
