Behind a great game by Max Naus, who had two goals, the Strathroy Rockets defeated the LaSalle Vipers, 6-3. Naus found the back of the net 15:17 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Strathroy and again while 16:52 into the second to make the score 4-1 Strathroy.LaSalle was unable to stop Strathroy from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rockets eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Strathroy bested its season scoring average. This season, the Rockets average 3.4 goals per contest. Strathroy additionally got points from Trevor Dulong, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Brett Dalton, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Micheal Woolley also scored for Strathroy. In addition, Strathroy received assists from Ryan Field, who had two, Nick Boyer, who had three, and Matthew Watson, Sam Vokes, Chase Thornton, Dylan Wilson-Foote, and Wes Baker, who each chipped in one. The Vipers' offense rang up 34 shots on Strathroy's net. LaSalle was helped by Dylan Seguin, who racked up one goal. Seguin scored on the power play 18:11 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Strathroy. A head contact penalty on Woolley had put the Vipers on the power play. Korey Morgan picked up the assist. LaSalle also got points from Morgan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. LaSalle also got a goal from Rio Anzolin as well. Other players who recorded assists for LaSalle were Blake Jones, Ben Hanus, Spencer VanBuskirk, and Eric Noel, who contributed one a piece. Dalen Kuchmey rejected 31 shots on goal for the Rockets. Strathroy incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Conner MacKinnon recorded 27 saves for LaSalle. The Vipers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
