The Leamington Flyers took the lead against the St. Marys Lincolns in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-1 victory. Leamington took over the lead for good with a goal by Alex Seguin at 14:04 in the first period. Tony Spidalieri picked up the assist.The Flyers' Austyn Roudebush was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Roudebush certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.16 entering the contest. Leamington was led by Spidalieri, who tallied one goal and one assist. Spidalieri scored 17:11 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Leamington. Brett Langlois assisted on the tally. The Flyers forced St. Marys goalie Jake Theut to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots. Leamington additionally got points from Seguin, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
