The Caledonia Corvairs relied on the scoring touch of Matt Quilty, who netted four goals, to beat the Brampton Bombers, 6-0. Quilty notched his first tally 26 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 5:02 into the first, at 6:53 into the second, and at 14:18 into the second.Caledonia was boosted by Justis Husak, who turned in a shutout with 25 saves. The solid play of Husak will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.68. Brampton fell victim to a deadly the Corvairs power play, which ripped the Bombers for five goals. Brampton forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and four majors for 72 minutes in penalty time. The Bombers surpassed its season average of 31.0 penalty minutes per game. Brampton's offense operated below it season average. The Bombers put an average of 2.8 pucks into the net per game. For Caledonia, Scott Dorian and Steven Comegna were ejected from the contest. Team's Evan Capobianco, Kyle Allan, Jacob Hanlon, and Josh Villaflor were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
