Lambton Shores downs Sarnia in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Sarnia Arena Thu, Nov 15, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Cale Duberry gave the Lambton Shores Predators a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Sarnia Legionnaires when he scored 3:16 into the extra period. Sarnia could not complete its climb out of a two-goal hole. Lambton Shores made it 3-1 on a goal by Duberry at 1:51 in the third period. The Legionnaires pulled to within 3-2 on a goal by Thomas Moxley at 9:39 in the third period. Duberry had a great game for the Predators, netting two goals. Lambton Shores stifled Sarnia's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Predators kept the Legionnaires' goalie busy throughout the game, and Sean Parker made 27 saves on 31 shots. Lambton Shores also got points from Kyle Brothers, who also had one goal and two assists. Lambton Shores also got a goal from Keegan Hnatiw as well. More assists for Lambton Shores came via Kyler Keating, who had two and Brandon Butler and Adam Arseneault, who each chipped in one. Sarnia's offense rang up 38 shots on Lambton Shores' net. The Legionnaires were led by Jason Teschke, who tallied two goals. Teschke scored the first of his two goals at 16:57 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jeff Paulley picked up the assist. Teschke's next tally made the score 3-3 with 6:34 left in the third period. Davis Boyer assisted on the tally. In addition, Sarnia received assists from Bobby King and Tyler Prong, who contributed one a piece. The Predators' Justin Tugwell stopped 35 shots out of the 38 that he faced. Lambton Shores incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Sarnia incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
