The St. Catharines Falcons won 9-5 over the Kitchener Dutchmen. St. Catharines made Kitchener's goalies to work all game long, racking up 33 shots and forcing 24 saves. Jack Moylan made 15 stops and Marc Williams made nine. The Falcons' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. St. Catharines gives up 1.8 goal per game. The Falcons cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on five chances. St. Catharines was led by Luke Karaim, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Karaim scored 5:53 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Catharines. Andy Sturtz provided the assist. St. Catharines also got points from Kyle Woodhouse, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Greg Jambrosich, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. St. Catharines also had goals scored by Jesse Miller and Braeden Kavaravtzis, who each put in one and Ben Walsh and Spencer DeWolfe, who scored two goals each. In addition, St. Catharines received assists from Tyler Jackson, Koddi Quick, and Mitch Bursey, who each chipped in one and Jimmy Sheehan, Julian Luciani, and Anthony Pullia, who contributed two a piece. The Dutchmen were led by Ryo Kobayashi, who registered two goals and one assist. Kobayashi scored the first of his two goals short handed at 11 seconds into the second period to make the score 4-1 St. Catharines. Kobayashi's next tally short handed made the score 8-4 St. Catharines with 12:34 left in the third period. Ty Learn also scored for Kitchener. Other players who recorded assists for Kitchener were Harrison Scarfonne, who had two and Tyler Hoffman and Chris Eckert, who each chipped in one. Marcus Del Conte recorded 15 saves for the Falcons. St. Catharines ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For the Falcons, Jackson was ejected from the game. Kitchener totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play. The Dutchmen ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Andrew Boer was ejected from the game.
