The Leamington Flyers and the Caledonia Corvairs were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Leamington made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2. No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Tony Spidalieri at 11:56 of the second period. The Flyers were led by Spidalieri, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Leamington stifled Caledonia's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Flyers forced the Corvairs goalie Justis Husak to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. In addition, Caledonia received assists from Connor Murphy, who had one. Matt Mancina recorded 27 saves for Leamington. The Flyers incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Corvairs' Husak stopped 34 shots out of the 37 that he faced. Caledonia incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. For the Corvairs, Nathan Ferris was ejected from the game.
