Brampton falls apart in second, loses to Kitchener, 7-2Powerade Centre Fri, Oct 05, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Brampton Bombers was within striking distance after one period, but the Kitchener Dutchmen put the pedal down in the second en route to a 7-2 victory. Kitchener was sparked by Ty Learn, who registered one goal. Learn scored 1:49 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Kitchener. Brampton was led by Matt Capicotto, who registered one goal. Capicotto scored 12:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brampton. Nik Borschevsky provided the assist. Brampton also got a goal from Brock Malatches as well. More assists for Brampton came via Jake Gilmour, Phil Caputo, and Kurt Wolff, who each chipped in one. Jack Moylan made 19 saves for Kitchener on 21 shots. The Dutchmen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Bryan Raymond took the loss and made five saves before being replaced by Erik Angeli who made 16 saves.
