Despite having to fight off several power plays, the Listowel Cyclones were able to defeat the Cambridge Winter Hawks, 6-3.

Listowel was sparked by Mac Nichol, who racked up one goal and one assist. Nichol scored on the power play 18:32 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Listowel. The Cyclones earned a power play opportunity when Mitch Figueirdo was put in the box for butt-ending. Kyle Ellis assisted on the tally.

Listowel made Cambridge's goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 39 shots and forcing 33 saves. Figueirdo made 25 stops and Lucas Machalski made eight. The Cyclones stifled the Winter Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Listowel surpassed its usual scoring output this season.
