Trevor Voelker grabbed two points to lead the Queen City Steam to a 3-1 victory over the Quad City Jr. Flames.

Paul McAvoy also scored for Queen City. In addition, Queen City received assists from Lucas McCammant and Tyler Belmont, who each chipped in one.

Quad City found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against Queen City's defense.

The Jr. Flames were led by Easton Halbert, who scored the team's only goal. Halbert scored 4:46 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Quad City. Anthony Caroselli picked up the assist.

Zak Kemble rejected 12 shots on goal for the Steam. Queen City incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jake Leon recorded 24 saves for Quad City. The Jr. Flames incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
