David Fassbender racked up one point to lead the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks to a 4-1 victory over the Queen City Steam.

Cleveland's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Queen City power plays. The Jr. Lumberjacks forced Queen City goalie Matt McLaughlin to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Cleveland also got points from Scott Cuthrell, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Cleveland also got a goal from Bo Zinner as well. More assists for Cleveland came via Ryan Wandzel, Andrew Sprouse, Andrew Mitch, Jared Johnson, and Nick Balavich, who contributed one a piece.

The Steam were led by Trevor Voelker, who scored the team's only goal. Voelker scored 8:38 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cleveland. Damien Lona provided the assist.

David Heflin recorded 24 saves for Cleveland. The Jr. Lumberjacks incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Matt McLaughlin made 31 saves for Queen City on 35 shots. The Steam incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
