The Breezy Point North Stars could not stop the North Iowa Bulls' Timothy Santopoalo, who tallied a hat trick in a 10-3 win.

Santopoalo got on the scoresheet 11:15 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:11 into the second and at 13:28 into the third.

North Iowa made Breezy Point's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 41 shots and forcing 31 saves. Erikur Arnason made 21 stops and Walker Enstad made 10. The Bulls found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. North Iowa has scored at the pace of 5.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

North Iowa also got points from Ron Lindgren, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Eric Behrend, who also grabbed two goals and two assists, Matt Kroska, who also registered one goal and three assists, and Tony Paulson, who also grabbed two goals and two assists. North Iowa also got a goal from Patrick Sivets as well. Other players who recorded assists for North Iowa were Kyle Krueger, Andrew Halama, Logan Murphy, Conor Jonasson, and Taylor Brown, who each chipped in one and Jake Johnson and Ben Ihrie, who contributed two a piece.

The North Stars were helped by Bryson Jasper, who tallied one goal. Jasper scored 12:56 into the second period to make the score 4-3 North Iowa. Turk Scatliff provided the assist. Billy Foy also scored for Breezy Point. More assists for Breezy Point came via Timothy Taylor, who had one.

Matthew Bartels recorded 22 saves for the Bulls. North Iowa totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Breezy Point totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
