Cleveland rides Moza to victory over Queen City, 4-1Cleveland Heights CC Sat, Jan 19, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks relied on the sparkling performance of Joseph Moza in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Queen City Steam. Cleveland pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes. The Jr. Lumberjacks were led by Jake Green, who grabbed one goal. Green scored 16:51 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cleveland. Andrew Mitch picked up the assist. Cleveland forced Queen City goalie Zak Kemble to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Scott Cuthrell also scored for Cleveland. In addition, Cleveland received assists from Kyle Gonzalez, Andrew Sprouse, Louis Sawchik, Cameron Dimmitt, and Zach Seither, who contributed one a piece. The Steam were led by Lucas McCammant, who scored the team's only goal. McCammant scored on the power play 5:10 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Queen City. An elbowing penalty on Nick Balavich had put Queen City on the power play. Robert Gentile assisted on the tally. Joseph Moza made 25 saves for the Jr. Lumberjacks on 26 shots. Cleveland registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Kemble recorded 32 saves for the Steam. Queen City incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
