Bryan Davis tallied one point to lead the Michigan Mountain Cats to a 2-0 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution. Michigan put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Battle Creek to score on any of its four power plays. The Revolution were unable to stop the Mountain Cats from sending pucks towards the net, and Michigan eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Austin Sartorius also scored for Michigan. In addition, Michigan received assists from Kade Morrison and Alex Kopek, who each chipped in one. Battle Creek managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Revolution ended up below its season average of 22.0 penalty minutes per game. Battle Creek's offense operated below it season average. The Revolution put an average of 2.1 pucks into the net per game. Spencer Craig recorded 23 saves for the Mountain Cats. Michigan incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Hughes made 31 saves for Battle Creek on 32 shots.
