The game between the Flint Jr. Generals and the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Flint emerged with a 4-2 win. The Jr. Generals gained the winning advantage on a goal by James Odom 19:06 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. Flint was led by Eric Jones, who registered two goals. Jones scored the first of his two goals at 6:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Flint. Andrew Lay provided the assist.
