Moza stymies Minnesota, North Iowa wins 2-1

Joseph Moza had a standout game with 32 saves, and the North Iowa Bulls beat the Minnesota Flying Aces 2-1.

North Iowa was led by Taylor Brown, who grabbed one goal. Brown scored 19:47 into the third period to make the score 2-1 North Iowa. Matt Kroska picked up the assist.

The Bulls did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. North Iowa puts an average of 5.3 pucks into the net per game.

James Hughes also scored for North Iowa. Other players who recorded assists for North Iowa were Jake Johnson, Tyler Burg, and Bryan Broders, who each chipped in one.

Minnesota's offense rang up 33 shots on the Bulls' net.

The Flying Aces were led by Alex Yde, who scored the team's only goal. Yde scored on the power play 13:21 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Minnesota had gained a power play chance when Jared Ramstead was whistled for hooking. Jared Sprink assisted on the tally.

North Iowa incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Allen Patten rejected 28 shots on goal for the Flying Aces. Minnesota incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
