Cleveland rolls over Battle Creek, 7-1

The Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over the Battle Creek Revolution.

Cameron Dimmitt had two goals to lead Cleveland to victory. Dimmitt's tallies came at 4:48 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Cleveland and on the power play 9:41 into the third to make the score 6-1 Cleveland.

The Jr. Lumberjacks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Battle Creek power plays. Cleveland kept Battle Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson Steltmann made 46 saves on 53 shots.

Cleveland additionally got points from Fred West, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Nick Balavich, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Cleveland also got a goal from Mike Palasics as well. Other players who recorded assists for Cleveland were Andrew Sprouse, who had two and Scott Cuthrell, Jake Green, Brad Hepler, Andrew Mitch, Jared Johnson, and Jake Roeper, who contributed one a piece.

The Jr. Lumberjacks' Christan Michalik stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Cleveland incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Revolution incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
