Behind a great game by Eric Jones, who had two goals and one assist, the Flint Jr. Generals defeated the Battle Creek Revolution, 8-2. Jones' tallies came at 8:18 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Flint and short handed 17:56 into the third to make the score 8-2 Flint.Flint made Revolution's goalies to work all game long, racking up 51 shots and forcing 43 saves. Hughes made 22 stops and Trevor Beck made 21. The Jr. Generals excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Flint surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Jr. Generals average 4.6 goals per game. Flint's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Flint also got points from Phillip Garza, who also registered one goal and one assist and Edward Osowski, who also had one goal and two assists. Flint also got a goal from Nicholas Gnagni as well. In addition, Flint received assists from Conner McGovern, who had three, Trevor Benaglio and Ryan Running, who each chipped in one, and Nicholas Goetel, Lyndon Fields, and Jayson Lottes, who contributed two a piece. The Revolution ended with seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major.
