Quad City wins tough contest against Battle Creek, 4-3The Rink - B. Creek Sun, Sep 30, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Quad City Jr. Flames escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution. Quad City gained the winning advantage on a goal by Clayton Janecke 3:23 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Janecke had a great game for the Jr. Flames, netting two goals. Quad City kept Battle Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Trevor Beck made 41 saves on 45 shots. The Jr. Flames found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Quad City averages 1.8 goal per game. The Jr. Flames got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Quad City additionally got points from Ryan Barry, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Luke Dickinson also scored for Quad City. More assists for Quad City came via Jake Wynd, who had two and Peter Coppola, Tanner Litvinoff, Easton Halbert, Harley Manus, and Nathan Iaciancio, who contributed one a piece.
