Brennan Anderson tallied one point to lead the Peoria Mustangs to a 5-2 victory over the Breezy Point North Stars. Peoria put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Breezy Point to score on any of its four power plays. The Mustangs kept the North Stars' goalie busy throughout the game, and Ian Shidlofsky made 26 saves on 31 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Peoria additionally got points from Blake Ortman, who also had one goal and one assist and Brendan Murphy, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Max Finley also scored for Peoria. More assists for Peoria came via Cory Kettler, Austin Ziakas, Nikolas Sakellaropoulos, and Chance Homerin, who each chipped in one. Breezy Point's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Peoria power plays. The North Stars were helped by Nick Shear, who finished with one goal. Shear scored 8:59 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Peoria. Spencer Bajko picked up the assist. Breezy Point also got a goal from Jared Naeve as well. Other players who recorded assists for Breezy Point were Evan Anderson, who had one. Michael Parda rejected 19 shots on goal for Peoria.
