Jordan Fogarty registered one point to lead the Toledo Cherokee to a 5-2 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution. Toledo excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Cherokee forced Battle Creek goalie Jackson Steltmann to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Toledo also got points from Kevin Gregory, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Zachary Armstrong, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Nicholas Brazeal, who also finished with one goal and one assist. David Bogart also scored for Toledo. More assists for Toledo came via Brody Duncan, who had two and Tyler Zalecki, Donnie Nagle, Austin Turner, and Brandon Layman, who each chipped in one. The Revolution were helped by Joey Lioy, who racked up one goal. Lioy scored short handed 4:10 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Toledo. Battle Creek found itself down a man on Michael Schmitt's hooking. James Romberger provided the assist. Battle Creek also got a goal from Conner Westbrook as well. Other players who recorded assists for Battle Creek were Joshua Kimber and Eric Stewart, who contributed one a piece. Nathan Miller made 16 saves for Toledo on 18 shots. The Cherokee incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Steltmann rejected 38 shots on goal for the Revolution. Battle Creek incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
