Lukas Daniels tallied one point to lead the St. Louis Jr. Blues to a 5-1 victory over the Peoria Mustangs. St. Louis stifled Peoria's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Mustangs were unable to stop the Jr. Blues from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Louis eventually piled up 60 shots on goal. Kyle Meeh also scored for St. Louis. More assists for St. Louis came via Kerry McGlynn, who had two and Trey Dodd, Tyler Opilka, and Lucas Stewart, who each chipped in one. The Jr. Blues' defense shut down Peoria's forwards for much of the game, and the Mustangs got off only 13 shots during the contest. Peoria was led by Brennan Anderson, who scored the team's only goal. Anderson scored 16:08 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Joe Lampman assisted on the tally. Mikael Broliden made 12 saves for St. Louis on 13 shots. The Jr. Blues incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Michael Parda rejected 55 shots on goal for the Mustangs. Peoria incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
