Michigan survives Jamestown comeback, wins 2-1

The Jamestown Ironmen tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Michigan Warriors would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1.

A goal by TJ Stuntz put Michigan up 2-0 in the second period, but Jamestown pulled to within one on Dylan Zink's tally 18:52 into the third period.

Stuntz had two goals to lead the Warriors to victory.

Michigan's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Jamestown power plays.

More assists for Michigan came via Zach OHara, who had one and Jon Farkas, who had two.

The Ironmen's offense was helped by the efforts of their defensemen, who managed to put 11 shots on net during the game.

In addition, Jamestown received assists from Joe Mottiqua, who had one.

Trevor Gorsuch rejected 25 shots on goal for the Warriors. Michigan incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Joe Ballmer recorded 19 saves for Jamestown. The Ironmen incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
