The game between the Austin Bruins and the Coulee Region Chill was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Austin emerged with a 5-3 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by AJ Reid at 18:56 of the second period.

Jay Dickman had one goal and three assists to lead the Bruins. Dickman scored 14:06 into the second period to make the score 2-2.

Coulee Region's power play was ineffective against Austin's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Bruins forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time.
