Kody Reuter finished with two points to lead the Austin Bruins to a 4-1 victory over the Aberdeen Wings. Austin excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. By firing 34 shots on goal, the Bruins exceeded the 29.7 shots they average per game this year. Austin also got points from AJ Reid, who also registered one goal and one assist.
