Kody Reuter finished with two points to lead the Austin Bruins to a 4-1 victory over the Aberdeen Wings.

Austin excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. By firing 34 shots on goal, the Bruins exceeded the 29.7 shots they average per game this year.

Austin also got points from AJ Reid, who also registered one goal and one assist. Austin also got a goal from Josh Bretner as well. Other players who recorded assists for Austin were Drew Anderson, who had two and Nolan Kirley, Michael Bond, Brandon Wahlin, and Jake Arroyo, who contributed one a piece.

Aberdeen's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Austin power plays.

The Wings were led by Jonathan Grebosky, who scored the team's only goal. Grebosky scored 6:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Aberdeen. Peter Krieger picked up the assist.

Austin's Nicholas Lehr stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Bruins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Chad Catt made 30 saves for Aberdeen on 34 shots. The Wings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
