The Johnstown Tomahawks tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Wenatchee Wild held on for a 3-2 victory.

Wenatchee took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Johnstown storm back on a Mitch Kontny goal 15:11 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The Wild were led by Trevor Stewart, who racked up one goal and one assist. Stewart scored 4:35 into the third period to make the score Wenatchee. Joseph Sullivan picked up the assist.

Wenatchee was often in penalty trouble, totaling six minors and three majors for 37 minutes in penalty time. The Wild surpassed its season average of 27.0 penalty minutes per game.
