Brandon Brossoit had two goals and one assist to lead the Topeka RoadRunners to a 5-2 victory over the Texas Tornado.

Brossoit scored at 7:43 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Topeka and again while 19:06 into the third to make the score 5-2 Topeka.

With 29 shots on target during the contest, Topeka exceeded the 21.0 shots it averages per game this year.

Topeka also got points from Jerad Tafoya, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Topeka also got a goal from Peter Halash as well. In addition, Topeka received assists from Tyler Andrew, who had two and Patrick Pollock, Michal Pastor, Trace Strahle, Clint Garris, and Sean Gaffney, who each chipped in one.

Mackenzie Sawyer made 40 saves for the RoadRunners on 42 shots. Topeka incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Aaron Davis rejected 24 shots on goal for Texas. The Tornado incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
