The Johnstown Tomahawks gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons. Johnstown gained the winning advantage on a goal by Mike Sandor 15:35 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Port Huron's power play was ineffective against the Tomahawks' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Johnstown was sparked by Sandor, who had one goal.
