The Kenai River Brown Bears, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Kenai River and clinched a 4-3 victory.

The Brown Bears led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Kenai River's Zac Lazzaro's scored on the power play at 8:55 in the second period to put the Brown Bears up 3-0.

Kenai River was led by Vincent Stefan, who racked up one goal and one assist. Stefan scored 14:36 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Kenai River. Zack Zulkanycz picked up the assist.

The Brown Bears' offense was clicking better than usual and put 30 shots on goal during the game, better than the 24.3 shots per game they average. Kenai River got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Carson Vance also scored for Kenai River. More assists for Kenai River came via Ryan Walker, Conor Deal, Brad Duwe, Lucas Kohls, and Chris Nuth, who contributed one a piece.

Gustaf Johansson made 32 saves for the Brown Bears on 35 shots. Kenai River incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kevin Aldridge rejected 26 shots on goal for the Ice Dogs. Fairbanks incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
