Fairbanks downs Corpus Christi, 3-1

Devin Loe registered two points to lead the Fairbanks Ice Dogs to a 3-1 victory over the Corpus Christi IceRays.

Fairbanks also got a goal from Kyle Lee as well. More assists for Fairbanks came via Doug Rose, who had two and Garret Clemment, Ryan McNeely, and Jayson Angus, who contributed one a piece.

Corpus Christi was led by AJ Jarosz, who scored the team's only goal. Jarosz scored on the power play 10:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Corpus Christi. The IceRays had taken the advantage when Fairbanks' Loe got sent off for slashing. Emil Romig picked up the assist.

Kevin Aldridge recorded 20 saves for the Ice Dogs. Fairbanks totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-7 on the power play. Hayden Stewart made 27 saves for Corpus Christi on 29 shots. The IceRays totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. For Corpus Christi, Roman Uchyn was ejected from the game.
